Elizabeth Ollen, PhD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Elizabeth Ollen (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who offers research-supported therapy for adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples. Her specializations include treating the psychological impacts of trauma, grief/loss, anxiety and depression. Dr. Ollen is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, meaning these therapies have been demonstrated to be effective through research trials.

Dr. Ollen is the co-founder and former Clinical Director of the UCLA EMPWR (“empower”) Program at the UCLA Medical Center through the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She spent 8 years of her early career supervising and teaching advanced psychology and psychiatry trainees before stepping down in 2025 to focus on expanding her own practice, which launched in 2018.

While Dr. Ollen works with people from all backgrounds and identities, she offers additional expertise in affirming and knowledgeable care for LGBTQ+ adolescents, adults, and couples. Dr. Ollen was part of the American Psychological Association’s Task Force to recently revise the Clinical Guidelines for Working with Sexual Minority Clients.

Dr. Ollen provides Telehealth services across the country in most states. She is licensed in multiple states including California (PSY31077) and Utah (#12507252-2501). She also holds a PSYPact license (PSYPact E.Passport #10635) — a psychology licensing consortium which allows cross-state practice in 43+ other states.

In her spare time, Dr. Ollen loves to run, hike, ski, paddleboard, do yoga, play beach volleyball, mountain bike, garden, and go out to eat.
